Boys Varsity soccer won its regional quarter final match against a very good Cypress Creek team. The boys played to a scoreless draw after 80 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime. The game was decided on penalties, with East Ridge finishing on top by a score of 8-7. Freshman goal keeper Nicholas Aquilino stopped Cypress’ 8th attempt and Ethan Loden scored to give the Knights the win. Next up, Windermere, Saturday night at 7pm, on the Ridge.
